Why not?
The M112 is bulletproof man, unless your engine is has some issues, weird sounds ect, oil leaking, huge oil usage you don't need to worry about the pulley.
Its like putting sugar in the coffee, sweet and works very good

I have it have no problems, bought TuningShop Sweden Karlstad, they also did the installation + the ECU upgrade.
This is the way, the only way really to tune up your CLK.
Else you got
Nitrous WET System V6 (WET For fuel injected engines very easy to install) (a few up here is running nitrous oxide on their CLK's but only seen it on the 4cyl engine or go SuperCharger (Compressor)

I would not recommend it. I have used pullies on other cars and learned from my experience.

1-you are eliminating the harmonic balancer - vibrations will be transferred to the crankshaft
2-you are underdriving your accessory belts - less charging capacity for alternator power steering pump etc.
3-most underdrive pullies don't have a timing mark - good luck setting timing
4-the gains you experience will be minimal. It depends if its a lightened pulley with no harmonic balancer or a smaller pully that is slowing your accessories to reduce parasitic loss.

I would say the costs highly outweigh the benefits.

You're welcome. As I'm sure you're aware it's expensive to modify a CLK55. There's really no cheap way to extract extra power. You will pay a lot for a minimal gain. Intake and exhaust are already free flowing. An ecu tune will net you the best gain which isn't much and is still expensive.

Nitrous is retarded in a street car for a multitude of reasons.

If you're looking for more power the only option you'll be happy with is forced induction.

Those pulleys still have the harmonic damper and are stock sized so there should be no issues.

Race pullies are the ones you have to watch out for.

You will pick up about 15hp/TQ on the dyno so it's decent, but not mind blowing gains. For the price it's definitely worh a shot

Absolute snake oil. Junk.

I would never trust this. This will not dampen harmonics like the oem. All for what, to save 3 pounds? Have you ever picked up a torque converter? Just that alone with fluid is probably 30#. Not to mention everything else attached to the crank and driveline.

This won't gain any hp and only lead to problems.

I would like to see this dyno chart. 0 power is added. Parasitic loss is reduced from accessories running off of the crank. I've witnessed them installed first hand with no measurable difference except decreased charging capacity, and reduced capacity on the power steering pump.
