battery and air cabin filter 06 CLK55 cab
hi all,
excuse the DIY newbie here.
i tried going to o'reilly to replace my MB battery today, and i couldn't figure out how to get it out...plus their air cabin filter didn't fit the space that was in mine(above the battery).
can i order this air cabin filter online (i could't locate on parts.com)?
also, is there a better place to get replacement batter?
my battery works most of the time, but occasionally it's tough to start, and i know it's at least 4 yrs old.

"IT" was perfect, but I was hoping for "how to" on the battery removal?
also, where can i order dust filter, or is that a dealer item only?

I just replaced the battery in my Cab...was kinda a PITA to shoe-horn it in the space. Taking it out I remember I had to tilt it up toward the motor and take off some plastic trim. Super tight fit.
I used an 'Interstate' battery, not that it matters, the housings should all be the same size and specs.
As for the filter.....with OE of course you can't go wrong but 'Mann' filters are just as good and much cheaper on-line.

I stick with OEM, some aftermarkets do not fit well in my experience. I swapped the battery out, do not remember it being out of the norm. Just awkward pulling it out and placing it back in.
