CLK55 2005 Front and rear rotors

I know there is a thread around here about this but I just wanted to see if anyone had any used front 2 piece front rotors for a 2005 clk55 or know of any other companies who made these, my first choice is Racing Brake. does anyone have any other solutions

Racing Brake is reputable as I have searched every crevis in china for affordable 2-piece rotors on a W208.
The W209 is more forgiving in terms of compatibility and pricing as more were made and the market is good to keep prices favorable. The 2-piece is seemingly standard issue on AMG-55 and probably for a reason. @ 150mph plus stopping must be safe.

I've got a 2006 CLK55 AMG, and unfortunately we've got few options other than OEM - the good news being that although expensive the OEM rotors perform as well as any suitable alternative - so I'm with ambit - go with OEM...

Yes gents I had that coming, I am a broadcaster when it comes to staying with OEM parts.

The OEM rotors on my car have outlived most domestic cars period, and a lot of other manufacturers from all over the world from the era. I am not ashamed to call myself a hypocrite here.

I do race on occasion (autocross) and one of the best improvement modifications for these cars is the brakes. The visual stamina from custom rotors with 6 pot brembos or racing brake finest is a gesture for fun in disguise. Others will know you are business.

neon carriage lamps and 24" subs are for parking lots.

I found some links for the W208 but have to go a bit deeper for the truth.
I took note of the cooling vanes in the OEM rotors and understand why many aftermarket foundries will not duplicate them, It is an incredible air grabber for cooling but still under-rated to the BMW M3 in 2002, according to car and driver.

All the Best, Gator

But Gator - I just realized you've got a W208, so you've got way more options. The 06 55 AMG comes with slotted and drilled as OE, as well as 6 pot Brembos up front and 4 pots in the rear. I've got a short thread on my weekend brake rebuild project. You can see the upgrades in my signature. Other than having the rotors cryo'd not much else to do regarding brakes!
