I did not read through all this but looks fun. I wanted to throw out that I can get rid of ESP/Traction control, completely for you if you want and also if you want to have more control over the trans.

ECE makes some killer billet/poly engine and trans mounts that lower the height of the engine as well as being fully serviceable. Full track cars are running them too since there are different stiffness available.
1- Will 10mm lower engine mounts wear out the flexdiscs as driveshaft angles are now changed?
2- What kind of testing has ECE done for longevity of their engine mounts?
3- What type of Polyurethane does ECE use?
4- Is there any difference when it comes to types of polyurethane?
5- How long has ECE been in the polyurethane business?
Feel free to call us Mon - Fri 8-5 and i can give you our answer to all of those questions so people can have a more informed decision. (503) 316-1811

We will be the first ones to say the ECE mounts look killer. The questions i would ask would be-

2- What kind of testing has ECE done for longevity of their engine mounts?
3- What type of Polyurethane does ECE use?
4- Is there any difference when it comes to types of polyurethane?

1- No. It is not a big enough difference to alter the angle enough to prematurely wear . We also sell our matched lower transmission mounts if someone is concerned.
2- we have run them in our shop cars as well as other tester cars. We have bench tested the poly in vices etc etc. We have everything from circuit race cars, to drag cars, to drift cars running our mounts.
3- We offer 40A and 60A polyurethane for our engine mounts. They are interchangeable depending on what the consumer is looking for. The stiffer they are the more vibration is transferred but the longer they last.
4- see number 3.
5- We have been testing in Mercedes for over a year. We were the first to make polyurethane/billet mounts for these cars. We are here for our clients if something were to come up as well.
You could answer your own questions for people to see if you'd like as well.
Those are amazing CTSV's running your mounts. We are good friends with RJ as a matter of fact. He speaks highly of your product. We are not here to detract from your products.
Here are some of the Mercedes running our mounts. There are many more such as the fastest C63's that also run our mounts.
We have built many Mercedes as well. We found mounts to be an unmet need in the market so we decided to provide it.

Quant,
First off the car looks amazing and i look forward to seeing you progress on it.
I figured i would throw this out there in case you have not looked at our products but we manufacture Polyurethane engine and transmission mounts for your car. I think you will like how the mounts make the car feel "tighter" without causing alot of vibration.
Good luck with the car and get a gopro in there so we can see her on the track.

Quant I still have that CF hood and a CF driveshaft if you want to make the trip down 👍

p.s. i will be benzing in a couple of weeks at watkins glen. its been tough getting consistent track time, and it doesn't help not even having car around. its been in the shop to get rear seat area carpeted after cage install. wanted to go with clean "oem" look.

little update for group. i'm giving interior CF treatment (OCarbon) and alcantara dtm style steering wheel (ladermanz). goal right now for me is to take care of interior and all maintenance items. i'm hoping to hit track a lot more next year!! will start putting videos up as well pics of interior will be posted in a couple of weeks as well when everything is done.
blackbenz, if you still have the CF hood i might be interested. my only question for the experts here is if i can cut out vents without damaging its structure. i'm thinking renntech clk60 type vents.

I still have the CF hood, have another CF driveshaft, and brembo gt front bbk that needs new rotors but callipers are rebuilt and refinished red. I cut my last hood which was two layers, this one is much better quality. It is one cf layer and a fiberglass frame.
If you do come down for the hood I'll show you the engine and transmission mounts and I'm pretty sure you will want to buy them on the spot. Racecars around the world are using them

Yeah big time! Was gonna put widebody on it but most body shops are scared away and want to pick up easy insurance work.
im looking into black series duraflex kit, but worries about fit and durability. Maybe my best option?
goal of widebody is to run wider wheels in the front for square setup, Probably 265 all around.
