every time i need an appointment for service, i always go to my salesperson to make it. then, when it is time for service, whatever the problem, he meets me at the door with keys to the loaner and drives my car into service. now that is nice.

You should grab a case of Heineken and send it to the General Manager. I bet he would be extremely embarrased and guilty. If he dares to give you a hard time next time, he is asking for big trouble. I have very nice relationship with my dealership, almost everyone in there has got some kind of "treats" from me. Sometimes you need that in order to make your life smoother.

Btw, your springs will arrive any minute on Thurs/Fri.

Speaking of exhaust, I ordered a quad exhaust for my 32 today because I am extremely unhappy and I want to spend some money. Probably I'll order the CF trim tomorrow.

AMG BRED, yes I ordered the Carlsson quad exhaust from Harris - it should be here in the next couple of weeks. (I'll email you when it gets here if you want to take a look)
European Autowerks are going to do the install; it sounds like it should be very simple.
Glad to hear everything worked out OK with the warranty work

yeah.. Atlantic Autowerks (behind european autowerks) are re-doing the suspension on the C32.. European charged an arm and leg to do the suspension, Atlantic is giving me a better deal and letting me do a hands-on approach so i can learn a thing or two. but i have heard good stuff about both of them.

So you think he rates higher than US beers but not so high as actually sending him a good beer

It is a fine line to walk you don't want him to realize you are insulting him.

Why try to hide it? Do they still sell Generic Beer?

so my CD-Changer was acting up lately, sometimes it wouldn't read the magazine, sometimes it wouldn't read all the discs.. so when i took my car in for service I brought it to their attention, after a few mins. the general manager comes and says he can't cover it under warranty 'cause my warranty has been void.. WTF.. i looked at him in disbelief and he looks at me and goes "obviously your car is not stock.. your wheels is not what i am worried about.. you changed out your suspension" what in the world??
If you change parts on a new car generally only the components affected by the new parts will have their warranty voided.
