my first warranty work and I GOT DENIED!!
so my CD-Changer was acting up lately, sometimes it wouldn't read the magazine, sometimes it wouldn't read all the discs.. so when i took my car in for service I brought it to their attention, after a few mins. the general manager comes and says he can't cover it under warranty 'cause my warranty has been void.. WTF.. i looked at him in disbelief and he looks at me and goes "obviously your car is not stock.. your wheels is not what i am worried about.. you changed out your suspension" what in the world??

In addition to going to another dealer, write a letter to MBUSA and explain your situation. Also, go to the Better Business Bureau. I am assuming you are aware that the manager at your dealership is full of sh*t.

A bucket on wheels
go straight to your service manager and have him proove how your suspension is what messed up your cd changer. by mercedes warranty rules, they must directly prove if an aftermarket part is what caused a problem. EXAMPLE: you upgrade your exhaust and your command goes bust. those two products are not directly related therefor they must acknowledge your warranty.
i had a similar situation occur in my car my cd changer wouldn't play some cd's and then it stoped playing cd's all together. i took it to beverly hills mercedes to find out what the problem is and the *******s raised their nose at me cuz i didn't buy my car from them. i appreciated their attempt to somewhat fix my problem but they told me to go elsewhere. and i did and i went to my dealer and got a new changer hope things work out bred

You can go to any MB dealer. Some are just a$$holes that don't like it when you buy from someone else. It is worse if it is their competitor across town.

That really sucks. They'll probably give you some crap excuse that your stiffer suspension caused the changer to malfunction because of all the jarring. Good luck.

Mr. Magnusson and Mr. Moss refers to the Magnusson/Moss Act (I think that is the full name) which states that a dealership may not force you to use their parts for work or changes unless they are willing to provide you those items free of charge. The Act also states the dealership may not void your warranty for using aftermarket parts unless those parts are proven to have caused the defect.
Example. Ferrari states you may only use their oil for oil changes and failure to do so will void the warranty. They attempt this all the time, but it is BS because their oil changes are not free.
Hope that is all correcty and helps. If anyone has a better example, please feel free to correct mine.

That has absolutely got to be the most insane thing I have ever heard!!!!!
It's got to be especially infuriating since I know you have been such a great customer at that dealership.
I will truly be shocked if that is not resoved to your satisfaction.

My CD changer is effed up also, plays when it feels like it and thats mostly when I have someone in each seat. How effing embarrasing driving a AMG and yr changer dies on you and you have ppl there as witnesses. They just told me that its not covered under the starmarked warranty, so i said OH WELL, but Beschof did my warranty claims, well they did a 1/2 a$$ job. I need to go back yell and have them complete ALL the work I asked to be done

well i went back to the dealer, but this time i want to my salesperson and the general manager there and pretty much raised hell saying i bought x amount of cars from you guys and dropped x amount of cash here.. and i can't even get good service.. i told 'em to get mbusa on the phone for me.. the general manager went and talked to the service dept. and told me to take my car back there and they will work on it right away.. he also told me that if i have any further problems with them, i should report to the manager directly and sort things out. so i got a new changer and a free oil change out of it
