Bose Sound System
Has anyone else experienced random glitches with your speakers? On very few occasions in the last year since I purchased my car my stereo will glitch. Sometimes it will just momentarily cut out and other times only the passenger side speakers would work or there will be A LOT of interference(all remedied by restarting the car). Since I replaced my voltage regulator about 8 months ago I have not noticed the speakers cutting out or only half working. But today I encountered some of that horrible interference. Wondering if this sound system is known for strange glitches like this

Well... I'll revise my statement and say all the rubber URO part I have purchased have been very low quality. For the most part I didn't even use any of them. Other member can attest to that also. They are cheap parts that seem to fail much sooner than the alternative parts manufactures products. Do a quick search for "URO parts review".

I would not call all URO parts garbage, I questioned it because I have had bad experience with URO electrical parts including regulators and ignition switch on a different chassis though.
Just replaced all the crankcase breather tubing on my NA55 M113 under $50.00. There are about 6 of them that could run up to $200.00 @ the dealer. We will see how long they last.
Other parts are kind of sketchy like front steering and suspension components, I have used them on my W124 but it is not a performance car. All working good though.
The Radio Amps are not the greatest but it would not hurt to investigate all connections especially Power and Ground.
Dirty battery connections contribute to poor sound on any system with a High End Amp.
I like the bose radio nav head though.
Cheers, Gator

I also have this issue, the sound will cut out, most of the time I can recover it but quickly lowering the volume. If not, the car needs to be turned off to being the sound back.
What is the fix?

I have a silly question about back speakers. The one on the left in my car has a tiny Bose sign/logo on it, the one on the right has nothing. I am not the original owner. Is the sign on the right missing or having one sign is normal?
