Front bumper repair/replace? 2001 CLK55

Front bumper repair/replace? 2001 CLK55
Wife pulled too far forward over a curb block in a parking lot and then backed up, breaking one side and cracking the other underneath the bumper.
What is a good source for a MBZ or, better still, another make front bumper?
Anybody replaced one and have advice on removal?
I may simply repair, but I am sick of the bumper center-piece falling off unless it is clipped on etc. I love my CLK55, but the poor front bumper design says a lot about MBZ engineering slipping.

I did the same thing!
I did the same thing to my last CLK (2001) in my own parking lot! The repair cost about 2500.00. The part alone is quite expensive ( the entire bumper surround). These are NJ prices but I hope this helps!

Follow up...
The part new is $1,670 from the dealer or a private body shop. However, there is apparently at least one source of quality rebuilt units for ~$400. What would have cost me $2,300+ even at the private shop is going to run $1,110.
With our deductible and the insurance company's criteria this will put us $140 under the amount at which my wife would get a point that would effect our insurance just like a moving violation.
The shop is SCD Colision in Santa Clara, Calif. if anybody is interested. I first went to them when recomended by a friend in the business in another city, and have always been very happy with their work.
