are they bright, say compared to the stock bulbs. i bought some leds that just lit up blue and purple but arent very bright at all. so now i am running polarg m17 but they have faded to almost stock color. so basically just wondering if you or anyone has tried them and are satisfied. thanks!

They are brite BUT the light output is in one direction. If you look closely at the lens you will see that its conical shape so the light is focused in one area. Was not too pleased with them so I just put them in my rear liecense plate lights. I'd suggest getting some PIAA bulbs (not LEDS) They are VERY fade resistant. Just be sure whatever you get wont get you in troble with the cops.

99SlvrC43: thanks for the input, so did you mean inside of the led itself that was conical? from the polarg led picture looks like it is flat at the top as opposed to a dome shape

also did it throw a light malfunction code in your car?

are the piaa's blue or blueish white?

greg: yea i got them from superbrightleds.com

i ordered the white ones but like i said came out one blue and one purple, colors didnt match. and yes it did have a lights out on the display after it was installed

these suck dont get them, not bright at all

They are flat but when look at from the top you will see what I mean. Basically the light is projected at a 45 degree angle, not very effiecent. None of the light will reach the back of the housing where the reflective material is. So instead of the entire housing being lite blue (like the glowing effect), it will be more of just a single dot of blue. Just like the new BMW. When they apply brake, its a dot you see not the whole housing turning red.

This was installed on my integra, LED bulbs are too ricer for an AMG. So I dont know if it will give the burn out indicator.

But here is another note. This was almost 2 years ago, when these came out as aftermarket parts. With the advancement, I'm sure they have improved on the faults and it could possible be that the new LEDs work great.

yea i see what you mean its not like a regular light bulb where the filament glows all the way around. i might just give them a try since its about 20-25 bucks not a big hit on the wallet thanks again
