Ordered a Pewter CLK 500 Cabrio in August, took delivery January 9th. Nothing but problems with motor mounts, steering, rear end clunking and weird axle problems that they still cant fix. Today, 1 month to the day with only 1200 miles on it, Mercedes Benz of Pembroke Pines bought my car back for full price and I drove home a CLK55 Cabriolet in Pewter 1 hour ago. The nightmare is finally over and this NEW AMG is off da F**KIN CHAIN!

Thanks
Thank you guys....I am quickly falling in love with this incredible machine. I have owned an M3, driven a Mazerati for a while and this takes the cake. Its FUN to drive again!

Man niiice!

How does the torque upgrade feel compared to your previous M3 and how does it feel from the Maserati?

Mazerati
The problem with the Mazerati was the auto transmission. It created too much of a herky jerky ride that took away from the overall experience. It was like a carnival ride. The pure power was amazing though on the Mazerati. As for the M3, the clk55 just seems better built. Just way more attention to detail. It has a hand built custom feel that the M3 lacks. Nothing will ever compare to the handling of the M3 however, the CLK 55 is the closest thing ive driven yet.

What kind of follow-up PERKS does MB Pembrooke Pines provide to it's new car buyers/customers, -- since it is a new MB establishment in SE Florida?

Congrats on the new drop top!!! I am considering the 55 coupe as my next car, but not sure it is worth the extra $$$ over the 500. I will be waiting until the MY05's are released to see if the new DVD navi. is implimented in the W209 & the cluster facelift. Let us know after a few thousand miles if you still are enjoying it as much as you are right now!!!
