Looks good. I hope you can figure out the programming and get all the systems working properly.

That does look like a lot of fun and I would enjoy seeing it @ speedworld.

C32 has a nice cave to work out of and it helps a lot that we are in the 70's which is good wrenching weather.

Keep it up bro, :-)

very very nice swap!
im really impressed.
can u please share some info on the wires/connectors, what u soldered where how etc etc.

ive thought about doing something similair in an W202 in the near future.
allready swapped an 4.3 to 5.5(no "K") from E55 but i really would like a charger added to it.

Okay, so everything is done with exception of the ecu. I tried to apply the scn coding with no avail. Can anyone that has done this swap give me some input on how they got the modules communicating? Did anyone use star developer? I'm almost out of ideas and could really use some input on what might be the key to get this thing to start. Thanks!

There are strong versions of WINOLS that will custom tune the ECU. It is recommended to find some one fluent with its use though.

I am sure that there are higher variants that can complete the ECU though. Try PM one of the onsite tuning vendors along with Kleeman. This might be the easiest and fastest way to go.

Cheers

Well, I was trying to apply scn coding to the module, when the module wasn't exactly a virgin. Since it came out a vehicle that runs the m113k, it already had the scn coding on it. The only thing cleared was das and the vin. I burned the new vin in the module and, bam! All was well! I was getting so frustrated with it, my mind became a little clouded. I took a days break, came back in with a clear mind and figured it out.

Congratulations. I bet it is fantastic. I know this is a huge ask but I am sure there are a few people out there who would love to see a writeup on what is involved.

I believe you can but as mentioned above the engines have different compression ratios, you need all the pulleys and mounts since 55k has two belts. You will need new injectors, TB and intercooler heat exchanger pump, wideband and maybe 55k water pump or outlet at least. Oh and a voltage clamp if retaining the maf. New fuel pump too. Lots of tuning. It has been done.

C32k - did you have any problems with wot shifts on your old setup? Not hitting the torque limit?

For the new setup it looks like you used a 55k transmission?

The car was originally a 55, so generally speaking they are the same 722.6 amg speedshift 5 speed

Yes, you can do a supercharger install on your car. It's been done a number of times. If you remove the clutch pulley and install a regular one on the supercharger it will save you a lot of headache. But you will get horrible MPG!! Just FYI. There are a number of tuners that can do this for you. I like it as it gives the car that OE look.

Thanks, the reason I ask is simply whether you used your original TCU with a new transmission or not and whether coding was required.

Sorry to ask again, did you experience any problems with the old setup in terms of shifting smoothly, hitting torque limit etc? Thanks again for sharing your experiences.

In terms of retrofitting onto a NA M113, the only problem I can think of is the bypass valve in the supercharger when you use the stock 55 NA ECU with the supercharger. I don't know how you can control this- I presume it is electronic as well as vacuum controlled? A clutched pulley could potentially be controlled with a simple throttle % activation but this couldn't be done through the stock ecu. Fixed pulley is easier but the bypass is imperative in that case.

The internals are different. Aswell as block construction. You are way better off with a kleemann kit.
