About halfway down the track, I realized I had left the A/C on
ROOKIE!!!!!
12:25 pm 03/29/2004
R/T: .220
60': 2.135
330: 5.859
1/8: 8.886
MPH: 81.15

Again, I ran with a full trunk and did not adjust my tire pressures (35 psi at the rear). Frankly, I was lazy and was more interested in hanging out with the AMG gang and watching the others run.

NOTE: They had the lights set up where the R/T was perfect at .000

Btw, how did you launch? Any wheelspin issues? One benefit of higher temps like that is that you will get a bit more grip....
Thanks!
With that 60' time and those ETs, you'd have probably hit a 13.4 or so, and picked up 1-2 mph in trap speed, with 70 degree weather.
Re: Lauching/Wheelspin
This most recent time, we were guests of the Georgia F-body Association. There were a lot of cars putting down rubber on the track in front of us....I felt the track was in 'good shape'.
I mentally practiced "rolling" the throttle as opposed to just standing on it, so I felt I hooked up okay (still got some spin on launch)....but I'm no expert. I've made a total of five runs *ever*.
The W211 E55 that ran with us had extreme traction issues.
