Does anyone have the different view of this? I never saw it before however mine is equipped with the darn cup holder above the cubby or should I say above or in line the transmission shifter but the only spill I noticed since the time I purchased the car was the entire service books and owners manuals had coffee spilled all over. Each page stuck like krappy glue.

There comes a time in a man's life when he... but I still am a kid. Nonetheless, I had to "adult" and make some budget cuts in order to fund a new venture - a venture that may even provide for a CLK63 down the line (wishful thinking). With that being said, and still in need of a vehicle, I have settled for a 2003 CLK320 for the time being. It cost me less than half of an AMG, with 100K miles and just minimal maintenance needed.

I really appreciate everyone's input on this thread, I learned a great deal about these beautiful cars. Hopefully I will be able to get my hands on one in the near future.

Should be smart, reliable and do you well, congratulations. The 63's have some rare but fairly expensive engine problems they can develop, definitely good to have a substantial repair fund with them when you make the switch.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. I will be posting some pictures of the coupe once I'm done cleaning it.

Congrats to you. Sometimes I wish I had done the same. Then again I said, no point buying a Merc if isn't the real deal AMG as parts will be more or less pricy. Just my 2 cents worth

It was more the initial investment that made the difference, since as I mentioned, I work at a shop and get discount on parts.

I still want to pick one up down the line, that has not changed.
