New to forum and Mercedes in general. Bought a 2003 CLK amg recently and because of state law must add a front license plate. Looking at various options and considering the Bell Automotive adjustable bracket. Rather than have to drill(visible) holes in bumper and use the standard Mercedes front bracket the Bell product would require holes not visible if bracket removed. Problem is this means the plate sits lower and blocks air from getting to the radiator. Asking the forum if that is an issue and I am better off using traditional(higher placement) bracket?
