245/35/18 front tires on w208 - yes it fits (for me)
i know there is always lots of tire and wheel discussion (will it fit?), so i wanted to input my findings here.
i am able to run a Hankook Ventus V12 245/35/18 in the front on a 18x8" wheel. the wheel is TSW rockingham, offset is ET32
one I note is that i have the Kmac bushings and i run -2.5* of camber. having this camber allows the tire to clear the outside fender lip. if it was stock alignment settings i dont think it would clear the fender lip.
on the inside, there is clearance on the upper ball joint, but not much. that part does not move so its ok. but a higher offset wheel or taller or wider tire may cause issues there. so if you have a setup same as mine there is no clearance or rubbing issues! I have the H&R sport lowering springs and #5 front pads. without the lowering springs you will have more outside fender clearance and can probably run a more close to neutral camber setting.
245/35 is not a really common tire size, there is not a ton of choices, but its def an upgrade to the 225 fronts! 245/40 has many more options but thats a taller tire and may have clearance issues. also the 245/35/18 is very close to the 25" overall diameter that our cars are setup for.
im already looking into fender modifications for next racing season to run much wider in the front to offset the ton of front weight on this car.
dont really need much wider in the rear than 255s unless you have big power adders, if you want more traction just lower the rear pressures or get a sticky 200TW tire :-) but to each their own of course

sorry i dont have good photos showing the actual clearances. maybe i will get some next time i have the car out.
