CLK replacement windshield
I have $200 deductible coverage and got a price of $350 from a local place to put in a new one.
Naturally I want the new glass to have the same features as the original one. The local MB dealer told me it looks to him as if the original one has a anti-UV filter and I can see a tint at the top and fine heating wires are the bottom, although heat is not something usually needed in Houston.
Anything else I should check on before getting the work done?
Thanks.
My Local MB dealer quoted a price of $ 350 + installation for item.
I'm going to see who my insurance company, Liberty Mutual, wants me to use to be sure they know what they are doing and will use the correct glass.
PITA but could always be worse.
Happy motoring!
