Maestro work for MB?
Hey guys, new to the forum and a new 2008 CLK63 AMG owner. Learned a lot by browsing the forums already, but can't find this question answered. I'm looking at having the h/k sound system upgraded. A Kenwood DNX874S was recommended and I saw it has an option for a Maestro module. Can this work with my car, or is there another product like it that will work?
Thanks for the help!

sorry can't help you, but also interested in upgrading the head unit in our 2005 CLK55 so would like to know more about people's experiences with various head units, connections to stock amp (Harmon Kardon system), possibility to keep 6-disc changer, steering wheel controls etc.
Seems that aftermarket head units don't yet have android auto (cordless, at least), hopefully soon.

I can't speak for the OP but I want to replace mine not for better audio quality but for:
- no peeling faceplate
- android auto/Google maps
- backup cam
- bluetooth phone
- Sirius XM
Stock amp and speakers are fine IMO it's just the stock head unit that sucks on many levels.

I know it's been a while, but in case anyone else is wondering the same thing, it the Maestro will not work with any mercedes.
I talked to some installers and they said to replace the stock amp with a new 5 channel and it should improve.
Also looking to get Kenwood DNX-994s, jl700/5v2, and a Ausidon Bit10 DSP. Hopefully those will help with the sound quality. I'll update after I get some other repairs/work done.
