CLK 55 For Sale

CLK 55 For Sale
Well, I've decided to sell my CLK. It's an awesome car, but it's not a family car! I thought I could get by, but it's not as easy as I thought it would be. So here's the specs:
2002 CLK 55 AMG Silver/Charcoal Coupe
17K Miles
COMAND
V60 Phone Retrofit
Voice Activation
Ski Sack
XMRadio Install completely stealth
Tires with lots of tread + an extra 4 snow tires
Car is literally perfect. No dings, scratches. Even the seat leather has no noticeable wear. It looks like a new car.
Warranty:
This is a starmarked car, and the warranty goes with it. 100K miles or 11/06
I'm asking 50K for the car. Hagglers welcome, lowballers will be ignored. It's an awfully fun car to drive, so I can sit on it.
Manheim shows 48K as the average auction price for an Above average car. For a little more, you get an almost new car warranty, just about every option, V60 phone, snow tires, and XM Radio.
I can be reached at bobby@piels.com
I will be posting pics this weekend, as well as putting it out there on ebay/autotrader/etc. I always try to post it on the forums first.

Forgot to mention that it's got the CD changer too. I never use it since I have XM Radio.

Don't know where those auction prices came from???? Not trying to flame here but 2002 CLK55's are selling at auction between 36K and 42K (5K miles) 48K must have been a cab.

They do have seemed to drop this month, but not at the level you're claiming. Here's the most recent manheim results.
These are with unknown options, and no more than the standard warranty.
05/20/04 MANHEIM Regular $42,500 22,609 Avg BLACKQ 8G A Yes
05/20/04 MANHEIM Regular $42,000 14,629 Avg SILVER 8G A Yes
05/18/04 OHIO Lease $43,600 14,090 Avg GRAY 8G A Yes
05/05/04 ATLANTA Lease $39,750 41,770 Avg BLACK 8G A Yes
04/29/04 RIVRSIDE Lease $40,000 44,926 Avg BRI SIL 8G A Yes
04/14/04 BAY CITI Regular $44,700 13,595 Avg SILVER 8G A Yes
I agree with ndabunka that I probably won't get 50K, but it's alot easier to lower the price than raise it!

When I sold my '01 CLK55 last year (same condition as yours, 30K miles) I had a tough time getting $40K.
I hope you get what you want, but don't hold out too long at that price if you don't get any nibbles.

Wish you luck with your price but who knows. You might find that used AMG cars are not worht what you may think. I have sold a few along the way and each time I shake my head at how little a mint 2-3 year old AMG is worht.
PS. Your wheels are on backwards in the pics. the 8.5 inch wide monoblocks go out back

No longer car shopping...
Did you sell it yet?
Hmmm, they DO look like they are on backwards. He must have had the guys at the local Goodyear dealership rotate them. I guess they didn't know that the term "rotate" on these cars is LEFT<->RIGHT only! Haha. Did you sell it yet? I am considering a used 208 55 cab black-on-black to fill the empty space in my three car garage. I've got a line on one but the guy won't come off his $49K price. I miss my '01 CLK55...

Monoblocks - I see no PM. Chappy... You'll be one of the first if I do! I guess I need to edit my sig line... 04TL with 14K miles. Currently lusting after other cars I either can't get my wife to approve or have a snowballs chance of paying cash for....
