My soft top started making noise and appeared jerky while opening, so I decided to lubricate it. I stopped it halfway and turned the car off. After turning it back on the switch stopped responding, so I had to close it manually. at first I had a gap on the rear window as it only engaged one of the locks. Then I moved the headrests down and that engaged the second lock.

Now when I use the switch, the windows go down but the top won’t move. I feel like something is out of sync. I’ve checked the switch on the luggage enclosure and that is engaged. Windows and rear headrests operate just fine.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

I looked a bit closer and have noticed that the soft top compartment doesn't seem to be fully closed. Should I try to manually open the top?
