Compact Spare for 2008 CLK 63?

Has anyone been able to find a compact spare that fits in the trunk of the 2008 CLK63 convertible?

A CLK350 spare would work on the rear only, prolly won't clear the front brakes....

I hate that they didn't provide a spare; I had a flat and the tire sealant was all dried up and the air pump couldn't blow up a beach ball, sad.

Have you tried one of the collapsible E55 spares?

Oh, so the AMGs never came with a spare at all? No wonder was wondering why it was empty space there when I bought my AMG. Was also trying to find one as well. Well, that sucks. Yeah, already learned the hard way the spare tire from a regular CLK does not work for the CLK 63 because of the giant AMG calipers lol.

It seems hit-or-miss, like maybe it was an option or something. My 2004 E55 has a space saver spare on an 18" rim, but a lot of other guys never had a spare in theirs. I'm not sure about the CLKs, but if anything is going to work it would probably be a space saver spare from a W211 E55.

It wasn't an option on the 2008 CLK 63 convertible Anyone know if the E55 have the same bolt pattern? It may be worth a try.

I am sure the bolt pattern is the same. I am not sure if your car has 12mm or 14mm lug bolts. (The E55 has 14mm).

The E55 spare is on a 18x6 ET 25 rim; I would be surprised if it didn't work on the CLK63.
