Remote trunk won't work with top up???
Cheers all,
I have an 02 CLK 55 AMG (76,000mi) Strange problem. My remote trunk release will not work with the top in up position. Key fob, console button. But both DO work with the top in the down position. My Indy mech thinks that it is one of two sensors in the top of the windshield frame, or when the top is in the up position that some wire or sensor is stretched causing the lost connection. This is as far as he got and doesn't know how to fix. All fuses, vacuum lines etc in trunk are all ok.
Any ideas? suggestions? Anyone else ever had this problem before?
