If anything, i would not go BMW. Benzes just age more gracefully.
I believe that the true measure if a car is for keeps is if you still love the car the same as you did on day one of ownership. and as you originally posted..."and i truly believe the 208 looks better than the 209, im not a big fan of the 209." You say this after all these years of ownership.
The manual will just be a novelty for 2 months and you will want an automatic again.
Of course the finances matter but that is just a formality since the bottom line is the car you chose is still the car you want.

Ironically, I had no idea I had any membership on this board...
Anyways, I just wanted to comment on how funny it is watching people ***** talk about things they have no idea.
Lastly, what is with the hate on this board? I love old people who think they are so great because they worked so hard for their cars blah blah blah and automatically look down on young people. Honestly, your more immature then the people you "try" to put down (notice I said try, because in this case you got "owned" as the "youngins" today say).
Attitudes like that are what make me smile when I'm in traffic...
