The red arrow points to a cover. On a CLK, there is a hot wire underneath where one could make the positive connection. The negative connection is just about any other metal connection. I would not attempt to jump start a car from that spot.

Hi thanks for the info why wouldent you do it? I have jumped a w203, w220, r170 and a w202 all from these points why is it not a good thing to do?
