2005 CLK55 COUPE
Tire Size
Hey guys,
I just picked up a 2005 CLK 55 and have a question about tire size. The front tires are currently 225/40/18 and rear tires 265/35/18 wheel size 8.5 x 18 front and 9.5 x 18 rear. The front tires seem a little small where the lip of the rim sticks out a bit. My question is, can I go with 235/40/18 in the front without having any rubbing issues?

235/40/18 Pilot Super Sports would rub the wheel well at full lock on mine. They seemed to have a wide 'shoulder'
But
235/40ZR-18 BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S XL fit on the front without any rubbing.
