W208 CLK55 ISSUE
Hey guys so this is a bit of a long story but maybe you guys can help!
I get a steering wheel vibration at 65-70 and can't seem to track it down!
Had wheels straightened and road forced balanced, still vibrating. Was told tires had flat spots. Got new tires. Still vibrating. Just re road force balanced, no change.
Lower control arms, ball joints, drag link and dampener all replaced. Tightened wheel bearings.
What should my next step be???? Could upper control arms be causing it?
Next plan of action is to replace shocks. Any opinion whether bad shocks will cause vibrations at certain speeds? Has all new motor and transmission mounts.
Once again, all suspension is new except springs, shocks and upper control arms.
Wheels freshly remanufacturws with continental DWS.
Any my suggestions would be great!!!!
Anyone know now anyone in Fairfield/lower CT with stock wheels I could try out before I buy new ones?!?
thanks!
