CLK55 AMD Nav/Radio upgrade
Just picked up a low mileage clean CLK55 AMG and want to upgrade the Nav/Radio system so I can Bluetooth my phone, stream music, etc. Possibly add a backup camera. Can't decide if I should go through the dealer or the aftermarket route. Anyone have any experience changing out these old systems? I have the "COMMAND" system and don't want to lose the steering wheel function or the other integrated function (like being able to set the clock)

Which model number radio do you have? I know this sounds kind of sketchy but there is a guy in Lithuania who will adapt your radio to hands free / streaming Bluetooth. I got a Becker BE6019 from him and the Bluetooth works fine, I like the original look of the radios.

It depends on the model radio you have. I am having him do a BE6003 (this is the type radio that came stock) for my car. I got one from him that was the wrong model radio (my fault) I was able to connect it and it worked fine but wouldn't fit my console.
