i'm selling my renntech airbox (w208) with BMC filters, PM if interested. looking to get 1000. only reason im getting ride of it is because i want to install a strut bar and box is too tall for it. my second fav engine mod after kleemann headers.

Have You seen my setup? Made almost 20whp. Haven’t dynoed it with the new velocity stack and filter yet. Also have you seen the MoscowSupercharge headers for a 208? I am just not a big fan of my kleeman headers. The build quality and welds on the side side. It’s pretty bad, the drivers side necks down so small!

Yea so excited you found those bushing. Getting rear subframe, front uppers, and front sway bar bushing next week. And probably an ultra racing front strut bar.
have you seen AleksRacing.com he carries lots of strut bars and braces from ultra racing.

I have kleemann headers, and have seen the inside of the collector. It’s horrible, also recently installed kleeman headers on a c55, same thing, horrible welds on the inside.
I have seen the collector on these, and the welds are perfect. This guy really cares about his work. They are not made in China, as the kleemanns are.

In the picture of the Moscow headers, the top portion of the collector on the one side looks hammered in. Is that by design to clear the firewall or something where the rest of the exhaust would bolt/weld to? Seems like all that hard work only to have the end portion of the headers compressed back down another inch restricting flow. I could be way off, just looks that way from the picture. Are the kleemans and other aftermarket headers this way as well?
thats done to clear the steering box pitman arm, with that said i dont think the ones i got had that indent. i do think it will naturally happen with time, thats what i happened with my kleemann headers. it looks bad but apparently not a big deal, thats what most racing shops told me

Just google w208 strut bars. There is a ton, ultra racing, this other German coming, ultra racing also makes other braces for the car also. Check on eBay.
i hear you but w208 chassis is actually very good, biggest drawback from handling department is steering feel due to old school steering box. if you want to go this route, i suggest you look at wiechers strut bar, thats what i have. i'm also looking to adding bottom brace similiar to the ones in convertibles. requires a lot of work to get them installed... again i strongly don't think any of these are needed unless car will see heavy track time with stiffer spings and track tires.
