P0444-EVAP System Purge Control A Circuit Open
Hello,
I'm troubleshooting this error for my 2002 CLK320 ragtop.
P0444-EVAP System Purge Control A Circuit Open. I've ordered a replacement part hoping it's just the valve. Any other recommendations on where to look for this type of error code?

Have same issue with 2002 S500
I have this code on my Mercedes S500 just replaced the Purge Valve Check Engine is still on . Going to take it to the shop if it doesn't go away the next few days. I dont smell gas or anything like others say about this issue. Do you know if there could be a blown fuse?

I thought the error did not go away after replacing the purge valve , but after starting the car through out the day the check engine light finally came off. So my P0444 error was the purge valve. Just wanted to update
