Stability warning lights, "display malfunction" "brake lining wear"
Hello, 2006, W209, CLK55, 70k Miles..alternating warning lights, display malfunction, brake lining wear, visit workshop. goes into limp mode. Sometimes clears simple shut down, re start. Disconnect battery for sure clear it until the next time. Spent over $2,500 on failed Independent's fixes, 2 ESP modules, one new the other salvage.. Merc Dealer said wrong module on car (new module), No codes thrown on ICAR OBD. NO CEL, zippo..what to do? Took is back to Indie that put the New ESP module on, said a warranty but zero confidence they will fix the problem. Can it be the rate sensor? or ... Please send helpful remarks... hello.... additional info, prior to esp problems, replaced battery with new, top line battery, did the full left, right wheel turns, no brake light switch on this car, had new alternator Bosch, after a voltage replace on original alternator quickly failed,, have weird fuse blowing with cigar lighter in dash, no problem with back of the console lighter..Newer Michelin tires, drives straight and no wobble or vibrations. Love my AMG..maybe too much.
