I am hearing from other Mbworld members (not counting Mr. AMIL here) out in my area that it may be a "bit" far going to the MBWorld meet planned for 08-21-2004 @ 16:30 hrs PST. (Address: 17545 Gale Ave City Of Industry, CA 91748, Location: Rowland Heights/City of Industry.)

Is good to see that Mr FrankW is pulling this meet basically, and Mr FrankW lives in the area close to the meet, however (FYI for you Mr FrankW) from Santa Barbara to the meet is 120 miles one way... hmmm... I a a bit closer in Thousand Oaks, so for me is about 70 miles one way.... (thus why last time it was done @ Rosebowl which was a more centric way for everyone from all sides)

I am in the same situation, so pending that I see the total tally count of members willing to go, we will make the final desicion.

my friend is coming down from Santa Barbara for the meet. He ain't complaining. I got another friend that will come from Riverside as well.

As far as the location, I was trying to get it as close to everyone as possible, but obviously it's not possible. There's always someone will drive further than the other. I wouldn't mind driving for the first fairly big MB meet, but those were the locations that I could only think of. I did ask for suggestions, but no one seems to want to take the matter in their own hand other than someone mentioned at the Irvine Spectrum, which would be even further from you guys a little north of us.

apologies for not having better idea for the meet.

If it would be okay for those that already signed up, we could change the location to ROSEBOWL, but then I will not be responsible if there are rent-a-cop around because I will be asking for direction to the meet as well.

Promenade Theaters in Thousand Oaks (exit on Westlake of the 101 freeway)

That will give time to all meet, gather, put gas to those like last time that showed up with an empty tank!...lol, etc.

We will be adding more cars along the way (Woodland Hills and other cities along the way)
