04 CLK55 AMG Alarm Issues..
New Mercedes Owner, here, hoping someone can help. I've been searching the forum for my symptoms but haven't been able to find this issue. My alarm goes off on it's own..Here's the thing, I have at this forums suggestion, removed the siren, and my alarm still goes off. My battery at one point did die and since then, this is what happens... Put the keyin the ignition ,and then I get a message that says "call connecting" and 2-4 minutes later the alarm goes off. Ive tried to start car, click the unlock/lock and nothing makes it stop. It will time out after 25 seconds or so. When I then start the car the message " call connecting" and if I'm actually driving it will say "call failed" and the alarm won't go off. When I park it, as soon as I take the key out.. Same message.. Call connecting, and the alarm will go off and continu this cycle until my battery dies.
I don't have the service that allows you to use the SOS , and I have already removed the siren. Can anyone tell me why the call connecting triggers the alarm and why does it still sounds if I've removed the siren?

I’ve had this problem. I had to find someone with a STAR car scanning system to go into the actual computer of the car and turn off the telephone function completely. You’re talking about the “dee doo dee doo dee doo” sound from inside the car, right? Or is there an alarm from the outside that was going off?

Just wanted to follow up- if your siren is coming from the inside of the car like i mentioned previously you will need to either go to the dealer and ask them to disable the telephone function in your car or find someone in the area with a STAR Diagnostic system who would be able to go into the computer and disable the function completely.
