My car has an odor that seems to be coming from the leather seats. I've tried gentle cleaning and some leather conditioner but that made no difference. My next
action will be a Detail Shop to see if they can help. Any ideas or similar problems?

@Mr. Wizard How long have you owned the vehicle? Could it be something spilled in the seat/seat cushion? Are you sure the smell is coming from the seat? I shampooed the carpet twice in an older high mileage vehicle I previously owned, and it made all the difference in the world. It smelled new again. Plus new floor mats front and rear.

The floor carpeting captures and retains all of the sins that happened in the vehicle. A good shampoo and new floor mats is like going to Confession.

When was the last time the cabin air filter was changed?
