full size spare tire/wheel advice
I'm looking to replace our bicycle tire spare. I have an 18" summer set, while the snow tire set is on our stock 17" wheels. I saved our stock front tires. I'm thinking about using a 17x8 wheel. I'll make sure to keep the correct lugs, with the new spare, any other do/don't. A wheel, on the cheaper side will do.

I just changed to my winter tires/wheels and decided to take a look at the spare. To my surprise, it is a full size wheel. Two years earlier while with a buddy who has a clk430, at the body shop, they argued over the spare. He thought that it was a full size, yet the body shop dude said no. Did he pull a switch, or does only the amg clk come with a full size one?

My 2001 CLK55 has a full size non-AMG wheel, but a 215/45R17 size tire (small). My 1999 C43 had an AMG wheel.
