who moded their clk55?
What kind of mods did you do?
if you chipped it, how much did you gain on the dyno?
Air filters?
Exhausts?

Don't you worry about your warranty? Maybe I'm too conservative, but I've heard too many stories about Mercedes (and other manufacturers as well) seizing any opportunity to void the warranty because of modifications. Even if you eventually win your case, seems to me the aggravation and the possibility of time spent with your car out of action waiting for a decision just isn't worth it.

You just have to find a good dealer and service advisor. My cars are mod'ed and still covered under warranty. I have everything from aftermarket suspension, rims, exhaust, ICE, etc. Whenever my car has issues and needs to be serviced/repaired< my dealership never gives me BS about my mods. Some will try to though. My bushings even wore prematurely and they replaced them no questions asked. they didnt try to bs and not cover them because my car is lowered or anything. A couple of months ago at the dealership, I saw a heavily modified SL55 turned into a Brabus SL K8, still covered 100% under MB's warranty.

My mods have been cosmetic or just a basic swap with euro-spec AMG springs (happening next week).
The cosmetic mods have been:
AMG illuminated door sills
DTM-style tinted tail lights
AMG flat hood badge
35% tint all around
Shifter
That's about it...
