Yes, you are missing the front engine cover. See my car below:
Also, what exactly is your idle problem? usually, when car is cold, it idles at around 1000 or above until the catalytic converters warm up. What exactly is your question?

Idle
I have the engine cover . But looks like someone remove the secondary air pump goes in the front and also 2 purges valve . If you can remove you cover you will see it . Car idle a lot , and even sometimes turn off . And the rpm keep moving between 600/1200 alone , so I need to rev the car to get it warm . Once the temperature is close to 90*. Car sound correct no issues at all . I hope you understand what I mean .

Does RPM needle go up or drop several hundred PRM's on idle?
Perhaps you have a vacuum leak in the system?
Have you checked if rubber hoses around intake manifold gone dry rot, they will eventually leak air.
Same goes with rubber O-rings when they go brittle.

I have an "icarsoft" with (38 pins) adapter, and try it multiple times,
but unfortunately, it's not quite enough to pull out codes from (38 pins)!!,,
I ended up getting "MB/SDS", it's really more reliable to get codes from (38 pins) more accurately..

The 38 pin fitted to older cars is not very smooth to work with compared to the new system OBD port which came in the year 2000.
