2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupé
As long as we're dissing what is maybe the greatest AMG ever built, I must say that the photo taken straight on the tail of the car in white somehow reminds me of an AMG Pacer ... !
I know, I should be admiring the CF diffuser. Sorry about that.

The BS is my jump-in Hi-Po car. I jump in her whenever I need to get somewhere fast and with fun without backing a car out of one of the garages.
I haven't nailed her to the floor yet cause she still only is clocking about 300 miles on the odometer. But giving her some decent pedal, you get thrown back against the seat fairly hard! She just seems to squat slightly and takes off HARD! I did notice one thing though (I may be wrong on this-have to check again), but she doesn't seem to rev-up easily! Is that normal on this size engine? Magwheel

I wouldn't worry about the "break in" Mags...These motors are run in before being put in the car. Plus its under warranty. Enjoy it and don't worry man. Once you run it though the gears, let me know if you still think it doesnt rev quick enough

As far as the engine not reving up easily - im no expert, but I think it may have something to do with the break in. Also - you are driving it soft now to begin with - so the tranny has not been given its "mad mags driving lesson" - I am willing to assume that after the break in period - you will enjoy a more spirited drive with her, and the tranny will "take" to the new style.
Lets see what happens.
Oy - I really can't tell you enough how thrilling it is to read your posts. I LOVE that you LOVE your cars!!!!!!!! !

No beef here.
I saw an article in a magazine stating the Black Series is the matches up to the porsche 911 pretty closely. Do you agree?

Hey, I believe on the 21'st reply I asked you how the Black Series handles compared to your Ferarri's and Porsche's... you never replied. I don't know what's going on between MostWanted and you but obviously he's making it look like you really don't own the BS and other cars you say you have.

As far as MW, I thought I was the one questioning his ownership of anything. Unlike him, I'm more than happy to post (almost) any picture asked of to verify what I'm the owner of.
I guess it's like someone said on here or on another forum, if I take pictures of several cars in my driveway with the same general area backround, either I have lots of friends with some wild cars or they're probably mine.
He takes a picture of a girl standing next to a Lambo and claims it's his wife. Then somebody takes a picture of some guy next to the Lambo whose back is to the camera, and he says that's him. He also said he was going to get a Black Series and didn't. Then he said he was getting a Lambo and didn't (I think). I can't keep up with what he says he getting and then all of a sudden somehow they just never materialize!
I'll take a picture of any car with me and/or my GF waving hi and the local newspaper or anything written on a card or whatever is requested. I have nothing to hide from or to BS about. I don't say anything about getting a 'car' until after I have 'absolutely closed' the transaction!
Getting off that topic and back to comparing the BS to the GT3RS, the BS defintely has more torque and just jumps like hell from the start. The BS seems to be more comfortable as far as seating and ride.
To be honest, I just don't know how to answer you. The BS is an Auto and the RS is 6 speed so they are definitely different to drive. The RS sits a lot lower overall or at least it seems to. The BS sounds great all the time where the RS has to be in Sport Mode to sound real hairyIf there is something specific you want to know, just ask me. Or if you want me to post a pic in of any car in any manner, just let me know what you want. Magwheel

BiTurboAmg, I'm glad you like her. I had an 04 575 Maranello and she was pretty sweet also. They definitely did their homework creating the 599 as a replacement for the Maranello. Magwheel

Mags,
My only beef with you is that when I had been looking around to get a black series car, I spoke with your salesman at Germain. He had said I could be second in line on your White car as he wasn't sure his customer would take the car. Fortunately, I post on 6 speed and lurk here and had seen your post about Germain and putting the two together I knew there was no way you would not take the car considering the current stable. Still searching now though.
