Is that painted any color and custom fitment? I actually thought they would be more....

Yes it is.
We can also get better pricing at a 5 or 10 set group buy-in.

We had the Dymag rep at our shop yesterday with these wheels. He said lead time for the wheels is ~8 weeks, fyi. They were VERY light, and reduce a lot of unsprung weight, especially at the center of the wheel where weight is at its highest. I'm sure they would make the car perform better, and be much more lively....but I was very unhappy with the color of the carbon. It had a goldish/yellow hue to it from the heat treating process. I held it up next to the rest of the carbon on my car and the difference was substantial. I didn't like the look at all. If anyone is interested, I can get them for less than $9000/set. PM me for details.

you guys think the car would suffer substantially from putting the 360 carbon fiber forged rim on, its a bit heavier, but i agree with the last post, the dymag is a different color carbon and i just cant have that!!! i want to put a set of 19's in the front and 20's in the rear.... your opinions

carbon is nice but IMO the car has too much carbon. I like the contrast of flat black

The barrel is completely Carbon, not wrapped; and the middle is completely magnesium.

I considered the Dymags but I do not like the style of the center section. I am going to powderpaint my wheels matte black once I do some research on who is the best to ship the wheels too. I think a full 1 piece carbon fiber molded rim would be very trick if they ever make such an animal.

Magnesium is great for lightweight but it becomes brittle with age and cracks. This is why no more racing rims are made of them without being replaced extremely FREQUENTLY.

Thanks

The HRE's look like BMW wheels. At the LA auto show I saw at least three different makes with the HRE mono blocks, so there goes the exclusivity.

I'd opt for the CLK DTM wheels, (if you can find them) 9X19 & 10x20. You won't see those at the Burger King.

interesting that they're staggered. It's wierd seeing that... why to get more contact patch when you run out of section width clearance???
