Very nice but you need to get the orange side markers painted body color asap.

I agree this looks better - but do you then just disconnect or remove the blinker bulb ??

I forget that on many cars they are connected. It was the same with my P-car. The best soultion if you want to keep the light is to take it to a bodyshop and have them smoked or replaced with smoked rather than paint matched. That way they will still light up orange when your lights are on. That's what I did. Disconnecting is another simple option.

On the '08 M5 they are just reflectors and only fitted to comply with US regulations. Euro bumpers don't have them. I ordered two new ones which are being sprayed black at Platinum and they'll just pop out the originals and replace with the paint matched ones. For new OEM reflectors, paint and labor it's $100 so makes sense to get it done. Should be done over the next few days.

Good luck and congrats on the BS, it's a great car. I was parked next to one in Studio City last week which in turn was parked next to an SLR. I'm assuming they arrived together. Some serious performance on show.

I removed the resonators, they are the smallest resonator I've ever seen on a Benz. The car sounds the way it should now.
Korn,

Where is your car at now...?

You should put the 20''in AMG wheels from the S63 on your CLKBS.

That would be insane.

If you're daring, powdercoat them the dark grey used on the SL65 wheels.
