And again, you obviously have very little credibility as you have totally misrepresented my PM to you. All I said was it will be easy to find out which dealer you bought your car from and then call the local body shops to find out if they have painted any CLK 63 black series fenders mars red; then, post my findings publicly since you have neither the ***** nor the integrity to do so. Oh yeah, and I'm sure you're dealer has only one or two body shops they use so that'll narrow the list down even further.
And as far as making you look bad...well, you don't need my help there....you've done all the work for me.

Seems this issue is being addressed by AMG, but at this point ONLY addressed and "pending". The question was posed by Jim in the most recent private lounge chat session:

Hey Jim,
We have heard about this one and both our AMG engineering teams (German and US) are all over this one taking pictures and trying to document this issue.
I personally went to check out a car in Michigan when I was at the Detroit Autoshow. At this time, this topic is still pending, but it is definitely on the radar...stay tuned.

Well... we have (11) Owners who report fender creases.
Most of them are from the June-July delivery timeline.

sorry guys but no need for body shops as it will be sent to me painted from the factory. If you guys can deal with the flaws and look at it everyday then by all means. But for those of you who thinks you should get a perfect fender when you pay $$ then contact your dealer and complain.

What "list" ? If you are referring to a private list that luderule is compiling offline, then no, I have not.
You guys can do the legwork and if/when your dealers replace them with factory painted replacements then I might consider it. Until then, I'll stick to my guns and say IF anyone gets replacement fenders....they most likely will not be factory painted.

Mine is a July built silver BS. Have creases in both fenders and even though I'm quiet picky with my cars, it actually doesn't bother me. Since they are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic which flexes, I guess it makes a crease when they are bolted in place.

No need to check the date, from the photo you posted i am 99% sure this is the issue at hand. I had the same issue with mine so I kno exactly what I am looking at. Not sure if MB will cover this being that its a 5-6 year old vehicle at this point but back when the issue arose they were replacing fenders no questions asked.

The local car has a CPO warranty, but as far as them covering that, you're right, I have no clue if they'll cover.

One other thought, is car you are looking at an MB dealership. Is it CPO? Even if it is not a CPO if it is a Benz dealer you might be able to convince them to replace them, try working that into the deal now that you have some ammo with this and other threads. There is a thread on the MB/AMG run Private Lounge as well.
