Can't you just enjoy your car without worrying about everything else that is coming out. First you are worried about an M3 that was given a very generous 0-60 time and now you are worried about an AM vantage that will probably be pushing $200k. Why don't you take comfort in the fact that a standard vantage is the same price as the black series with 385hp and 5 second 0-60 times.

Seriously man...enjoy what you have and quit worrying about the next best thing. ET550 makes very good points...namely, the fact that the regular vantage is almost the same price as the Black and any RS made will for sure be above $200k knowing AM.
And if this is true:

"Into what could very well prove to be the fastest, hottest Aston Martin yet, the newly independent British automaker has dropped the V12 reactor not from the recently demised Vanquish, nofrom the road-going DB9 or Bond-tastic DBS derivative, but from the DBRS9 race car. With somewhere in the neighborhood of 600 horsepower (!) pushing 3500 lbs, the V12 Vantage RS is anticipated to clock a 0-60 time in the 3's on its way to a 200-mph top speed. Performance target: Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. "

Forget it, or buy it casue it'll be sick. But it'll also be priced similar to a 599.

I think it's great that others jump in and make BS competitors. The BS is a phenomenal driver's car, and if somebody can make one better, that's good for all of us. Personally, I can't see how it's going to get much better, as the current Bs is all the car 99.5% of drivers can handle. I don't think it would be much better with 600 hp. Maybe you could tap into that once every 100 miles, but maybe not.
0-60 doesn't matter as much to me as, "drives like a race car", "drive it every day", "drive it anywhere", "service readily available", and "F1 Safety car". AS

I agree with AS - 600hp will make that car blisteringly fast, not to mention sound amazing...however putting that much power to the ground will be difficult without AWD. The Black Series as it is already smokes'em through
1st and halfway through 2nd. But again, these cars are not made to drag, they are made to put down quick lap times.

It looks like AM under David Richards is going racing in all classes to show case it product which is a good thing for enthusiasts. Certainly his Pro Drive experience proves he can build competitive race cars but the devil is in the details for a street cars. So far AM doesn't have anything close to a CLK63 Black performance wise but their going to build something for the street with 600hp. Well, they have more leather color choices than just about anyone.
