C43, SLK32, CLK63 Black Series
Bought a black series the other night...
Bought it last Wednesday and finally took delivery last night. Love it. Need to get the blue tooth synced. I quickly tried but the car has a find me feature and so does my phone. I have to get my phone to look for the car I suppose put in the menu it just seems to have "Find me".

C43, SLK32, CLK63 Black Series
SLK32 is in LA getting headers made and a retune. I haven't had it for a while. I hope to get it back soon. Still love that car. It is a little rocket. Hoping to be at 375 whp in a 3200 lbs car when I get it back. I also added an LSD so it should really be able to get the power to the road now.

Congrats.
We've owned some of the same cars, C43 and I had a RS4 until 5 months ago...sold it with 3k on the clock after 9 months and Stasis upgrade to boot.
I too looked very hard at the BS, glad I did not let impulse rule the day 5 months ago as I can save some money for a change now.

Tell me about it - guy showed up at my house, I postponed a meeting to meet him, took him for a drive and he had the ***** to offer me $100k. I asked him if he was serious with that lowball offer and he said "yeah, that's all it's worth". I told him to get off my property before I threw him down the driveway.

I hope you get your price, but would appreciate understanding what the market is like no matter which way it goes. Right now, everybody in the lending business is taking cover, so the buying pool has shrunk. AS

As a fellow owner, I have a vested interest in resale value, but only time will tell if the 100K was lowball or market. Personally, I have no problem with someone making an offer that will represent true value to them. I've bought a home that way, and will typically deeply undercut asking price on secondary market aquisitions. And really, why not try. If the seller makes a counter offer, then the negotiation process is well under way.

Agreed - but my asking price is based on recent sales. My local dealer took one in on trade for a CL65...they gave the guy 100k trade in on the BS. I also took into account what SteveL paid for his. He has not disclosed what he paid, but my car has 900 more miles and is priced thousands less. I feel that is fair, and priced accurately against the market and current sales.
