For anyone that is following this thread, I just recieved all the info on shipping my wheels back to Dymag along with their Fed Ex acct #. This is a very good sign and I am very please with the way they have handled this issue thus far with literally no questions asked.
I love the looks and performance of these wheels, I would recomend them to everyone, but the their customer service appears to be second to none. We all know what it can be like dealing with some companies that produce high performance parts for cars, sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get them to replace or repair their product if it is faulty. This is very refreshing to know there are companies that stand behind their product and not behind excuses.

Their service may be great, but it seems as these wheels are not yet ready for "prime time"
It seems to be a case of letting the Customers pay for the R&D. I know of others who have had "finish" problems with these wheels as well, and had to have them replaced. Who needs that hassle. In the automotive "performance" world sometimes there is no substitute for OEM and the rigorous testing that is required.
Finish is one thing, if the wheel "might" not be able to take the torque, that is a whole other level of concern.
Based upon what I read here, and the potential implications, I wouldn't dare put (or keep) those wheels on my car.

theyre probably going to hook you up pretty good. i love good customer support
good quality support stems from the manufacturer's proper foresight to both avoid any incidents, and keep a customer. everyone wins

CLK63 Black, E350 Wagon, Supercharged Denali, Lotus Elise, Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor.
There maybe a line forming to the right for the replacement wheels.
Callaway has be using the same wheel for awhile now on their new C6 Corvettes. And Callaway buys more wheels then anyone person.
Jim, Next time, maybe ask if it has affected any C6 Callaway Cars

As in many manufacturing companies, there has been a problem identified with recent production wheels. This does not apply to all wheels. Realize Dymag has been in business for a VERY long time, this is not a new company or a new product.
They are doing everything they can and should do to remedy the problem. They are repairing the existing wheels with problems for any customer as a stop-gap while they are manufacturing new replacements.
It is an unfortunate situation, but you can best judge the character of a company in a bad situation, and I am very pleased with the reply so far.
thanks

Thanks Jim. It is a clone of yours as far as mods go basically (except no Dymags). This is a Vegas car, so you will most likely see it at some point on one of your trips!
thanks again,
Brad

The HRE partnership will open up a lot of potential customers who do not like the 9-spoke design. For some cars, that design does not work great.
However, on th BS, I think the look is very DTM and fits the car perfect, so might as well have your cake (CF) and eat it too (lighter weight).
FYI, we will offer both the original Dymag and the HRE CF Wheel (with dymag barrels). Anyone who is interested please inquire as there are long lead times right now for both. The HRE will be available early Jan 09, but placing orders now can help to secure early delivery.
thanks
