I think they were Sparco's, too.

But, don't the ROW versions of the CLK 63 Black Series also use the Sparco seats? I thought they were the same

I finally recieved my new seats today. Here are a few quick teaser pics I took with my phone, sorry for the poor pic quality. I will be sure to post up a few more once they are installed in the car along with my new 5-point 3 inch SFI Sparco harness system.

These things are light...I honestly could not believe when I picked up the box, for a second I honestly thought the boxes were empty.

....Thanks Brad and Evosport for finding these beauties.

I just thought I would let everyone know I weighed my new Sparco CF DTM seats and mounting hardware and compared it to the stock seats. In a nushell the Sparco seats and brackets weigh in just under 16 pounds each the stock seats, mounting brackets, sliders and wiring harnesses weighed just over 72 pounds each. I cut appoximately 112 pounds from my car with these seats...and, they look trick as all hell on top of it!

Very nice! Is there a way to get the AMG logo added? Probably not since those are probably embroidered prior to final assembly. Regardless ... I look forward to seeing them in the car!

Yes of course we can do that. We do it all the time. We can do custom logos and stitching (deviating colors). See pic below we did on a stock CLK BS seat.

Reviving this old thread, but I noticed you said you installed a lightweight Braille battery in you car, I believe the 15lbs version. Just wondering how you mounted it in your car...did you use one of Braille's brackets or custom mount, or just bungee it in?

Also, have you run into any problems with it? Does it still have enough juice to start the car after sitting a week or two?

Thanks!

Yes, I mounted a Braille battery, I ordered the mounting bracket with it and it has a nice secure fit. I have not had any problems with starting the car even after being parked for over 3 weeks. I may be moving up to the next size becuase I am fearful that the NOS system on my car might be drawing to much power off the smaller battery, I may go up to their 20-21 pound unit just to be safe.

Luke, I wish it weighed only 3500 pounds, I would say 3650 or closer to 3700 pounds.

How much do your CLK BS seats weigh stock?

I need new seats. My cars a proud pig. "Pulse" seats and all that useless stuff, I want to get rid of that crap. Heard seats on a W211/R230/W220 are upwards of 250lbs each!

Stock seats and mounting brackets are about 72 pounds each if my memory serves my correctly.

I bet you're right.
It's a legit 3,950 in stock trim according to the scale at the track.

I have weighed the car at the track but that was on the stock wheels. There are so many unknown variables related to the weight of my mods. Even with all the weight saving measures I have taken I am unsure how my larger diameter stainless longtube headers and exhaust compare to stock. I deleted the cats which I know are were very heavy, but the larger diameter stainless (stainless is heavier than mild steel) and X-pipe might have negated the cat delete savings. My roll bar added about 70 pounds, the cf seats saved my about 110 pounds, the Dymags save considerable weight, nearly 15 pounds per wheel, the battery saved me 25-30 pounds, the light weight rear 2-peice rotors save me some more weight, and the carbon fiber drive shaft saves me yet some more weight. My guess is that my car is only about 200-225 less than a stock Black Series at this point.

Keep in mind I have added stainless brake lines that are probably heavier than stock, the line-lock kit, the larger rear wing and front splitter add yet even more weight over stock.
