Can someone please tell me about the rear wing on the silver black series pictured in the background? Does anyone have a better picture of this wing? Will it fit my CLK 63 Cabrio?

that's a sign out on the street on the other side of the hedge !!!! Also, a wing on the cab would like terrible, IMO. If you want something back there get the Black Series CF spoiler, but even then I think it'd look totally out of place.

my mistake, at a glance it appeared to be a more tasteful version of a DTM type wing. I'm not a huge fan of DTM type wings, however the latest version of the CLK DTM is a cab and it has a wing and it does not look bad in my opinion.

Agreed, however....the DTM has the styling and performance where large aero pieces are needed and blend well with the overall visaul package. You can't say the same for the CLK63 cab and comparing the two is apples to oranges.

that stance on that car is perfect. it is amazing what a set of wheel spacers can do for a car. they pushed the stock wheels out and really fill the wheel wells nicely.

The top speed is now theoretical so it's limited by aerodynamics and gearing. There's no real hard limit set. One of our cars went 207 MPH, but ran out of road and it still had more left in it, so with enough road 210+ MPH is attainable.

Looks great guys. My BS is the only car I've managed to keep stock thus far but threads like this are certainly threatening that.
Sorry to nitpick but I noticed there was a typo on the Vorsteiner ad (Merecdes). I do stuff like that all the time which may be why it caught my attention.

CLK AMG BLACK SERIES (among other German things)
great project . im interested to know if the ecu upgrades have had any unwanted effects . namely reduced gearbox performance (change speed ) and limp mode being engaged after hard driving .
i tried a very tuned car from a reputable german firm and it was much more powerful but i am sure the gearchange was no way near as good as a standard black .
i have also had experience of my first black series going into limp mode after being modified .
very very interesting project .
