Picked Up a New BS
Hi all,
Just got a new BS over last weekend, snapped a few "before" pictures
It's one of the few obsidian blacks left in the country. I think there's one more in Texas. I prefer this color to regular black, I think it blends in the best
with CF, also easier to upkeep, at least compare to the regular black.
The carbon fiber bits are very nice, although I had higher expectations--thinking they're from the factory and all. Still great quality, just not overwhelmed.
The sound, on the other hand, is pure sex!
Already ordered some small bits, gonna replace that hideous orange signal cover, for one.
I'm also in the talks with MACarbon to have the outer mirror housing laminated in CF. I think it would really complete the CF exterior look. Like Kicherer's CLK BS, but you don't want to know how much they charge for a pair

I really love the obsidian black too, looks more interesting under the light.
I'll post more pics once the winter is over and the car gets cleaned/detailed a bit--now still has some wax / swirls from the dealership.

Congrats on your new ride. I just got mine on 12-30-08. the weather here has been so bad that I have only got to drive it a couple of times. I forgot what blue skies looked like. Have fun !

Same here...it's snowing again in the mid-Atlantic. I really want to drive it but I'm sure the corsas won't agree with the freezing temp.
Congrats on your purchase too, selynn. Enjoy it! (when the weather gets better, of course).
Since the car's sort of trapped in the garage, I replaced a few small bits and pieces around the car, have a few interior trims that's about to get carbon fibered. Will post more pics when weather gets better.
