ECU Removal?

CLK 63 Black Series
ECU Removal?

does anyone here know how to remove the ECU on the Black.

Location: Driver's side on the firewall.
1) Remove cowl access cover
2) Remove ECU access cover.
3) Slide front harness keeper out and push to the side.
4) The center 3 harness connectors are removed by sliding up the harness lock on each and lifting.
5) Slide rear harness connector out the same way as the front connector
6) At the bottom/front of the ECU push tab to release and slide up then forward.

When putting the ECU back in start with the rear harness connector(closest to firewall) and then work your way forward by installing in order from rear to front with the harness farthest from the firewall being the last to be connected.

Make sure the harness connectors are fully snapped in(the center 3) and the slide connectors are positively snapped in(end 2)

Thanks a million! just one question.. excuse my lack of knowlege in these stuff, but were exactly is the 'firewall' located.. if u can link a pic that would be helpful.. thanks in advance

The firewall is the vertical partition between you in the drivers seat and the fire raging in your engine bay.

TTM's comments apply to left hand drive vehicles, maybe not on right hand.
