I dont think the race went down... even the most mild mannered individuals would speak of their win if it involved JRcart.

I'm alive and well, just been very busy and actually working for a change. Opening a another new satelite division of my company and been doing lots of traveling getting things in order. Not been on a track in over 6 weeks, hoping to get out to some track days now that things have calmed down.

We've got a small herd of AMGs ready to throwdown. Just did Barber Motorsports Park a week ago - phenomenal track!

I'm fine, I don't login here much anymore, seems everytime I do I get baited and attacked so I figure it's better to observe from a safe distance rather than throw down in a pissing contest with other members. Besides that I have a few new non-MB toys that are taking up a fair share of my time and attention as of late as well as spending a lot of time on race tracks and misc events in the area. I've run into a handful of MB world guys here and there at various gatherings and events.

Whatever happened with the race w/ Derek? Don't think it ever happened, right? What's the reason why?

I don't think I will be posting any pics on here, if I were to do so somebody would most likely just say I'm full of crap and/or call me a liar...hell people still say I don't really own a BS LOL Too many haters on this site. I have come to the conclusion that half of the AMG owners on this site are OFF's (over financed ****s, you know who you are) (no offense to all you guys that can really afford yours) that scrounged up enough cash for a small down payment on a 72 month finance plan for a 5 year old AMG. I'm sure pics will surface soon enough from some car show, meet or track event.

i fail to see the importance of how / why people pay for their cars . also i am shocked that others would try to justify their own purchasing methods or decisions to prevent being called a meaningless acronym . i have read most of the old threads on here and have seen some of the madness but still , i am agog

Me thinks that it's just one of those "makes me feels good to deride the unwashed masses" sort of thing.
I'd still like to see the pics, however.
