Replace Rubber Valve Stems With Steel
My BS came without TPMS so I've got regular rubber valve stems. I think they look awful (I'm vain) and I would like to replace them with steel valve stems. I've checked around and can't seem to locate any. I even called MB and they don't carry them. First, does anyone know the valve stem hole diameter in the rim? Will 1.25" steel valve stems fit? Will changing to steel stems create any problems? My SL55 030 has steel stems and they seem to work fine. And, does anyone have any off their car with TPMS that they would like to sell?
