ordered the HRE Monoblocks. It has been a productive 24 hours.

struggling with the seat options.

Spoke to the folks at Evosport, but does anyone know how difficult/expensive it is to get the European seats (or at least the mounts)?

Have U even sat in the stock seats yet??
The general consensus around here is that they r some of the
best seats made. Great for everday use and long trips; as well
as excellent at the track. Unless u plan on doing alot of track days, I'd suggest
sticking with stock and put that money towards dymags, or, ecu tune and headers.

I ended up buying a silver one out of Maryland with 6k miles on it. Extremely clean.

My GT3 actually left today, so I am excited to get it on a truck to CA. Hopefully, the wheels will arrive around the same time.

I'd love all suggestions for useful (driveable) upgrades/mods.

LZH -

I have driven the car before. I just know from prior experience with my F430, and GT3, that I prefer the contour of a different seat. A friend actually just called with a line on some of the European seats. Perhaps that will come through.

Gotcha. Congrats, you will love it. As far as the seats go... To each his own. I think u will like the euro seats but they have very limited adjustability.

As for mods. Just go see the guys at evosport. Start with a good alignment and corner balance and then take it to the track.

Pitts12Driver, does "Pitts" refer to kart racing? If so, let me know because we might know each other.

And you should post in this forum so we can add you to the list:

No - while I did race the Rotax masters series in karts for a couple of years, the "Pitts12" refers to my biplane - a pitts model 12...

oh, and I'm in Norcal

Congrats
I am also thinking of the HRE wheels, are they the same weight as the factory wheels?

Honestly, I don't know if they are lighter. I made the swap purely for aesthetics. That said, on my GT3, the HREs were almost 9 lbs per wheel lighter than stock.
