Riddle me this
When our cars came out, a common rap was "too heavy". I think we come in around 3900 lbs., and I'm sure somebody will make that a precise number.
In looking thru Road and Track, I see the Ferrari California, all 4200cc of it, wrapped in a lovely aluminum (!!) body, weighing 3925 dry. How does this lightweight Ferrari wind up weighing so much with an aluminum engine, aluminum shell, and no back seat, and I think it is also shorter. Or is 3900 lbs relatively light for a V8 front-engined performance car? AS
